There’s a funny story behind the title. I met Mayra almost a decade ago, for the first year (or more, who really knows?) I had her last name spelled incorrectly in my contacts. I don’t know why/how I thought there was a “T” in it ~ it wasn’t until I sent her a screenshot of something that she corrected me – we laughed so hard, we cried. Had she not corrected me, she would’ve been Lomelti for life.

Anyway.. this was our first shoot together, her & the kids were my first real clients. I’m just so grateful that she trusted me. I rented a special lens from Samy’s Camera in Pasadena, brought my sister Cat to be my hype woman, and we shot at a local park in Glendale.
